My testimony

I became a member of the church when I was in 4th year high school. Admitting that I was already a member was particularly hard since I was studying in a religious school of another faith.

I confessed to the principal that I had found a new faith, so I could no longer participate in the school’s religious activities. Things changed after admitting that I was already LDS. There was even a rumor that I would be expelled from school, but my good teachers stood by me.

Years passed, then I went to college, served a mission and got married. After four years of marriage, I separated. In several stages of life, I’ve encountered various trials but my knowledge and love of the gospel has been the main thing that makes me strong and keeps me going.

I am grateful for the gospel and the peace and hope it brings to my soul. Although being a single parent and taking care of an ailing mom is hard, I am able to do my part because of the lessons and the scriptures we have as a guide for our daily living.

Reading from the scriptures and listening to the words of the living prophet and apostles, help a lot in facing the problems of life no matter how hard they may seem. Faithfully paying my tithes enables me to have the basic things my family needs. I feel God’s mercies, providence and timely help in many instances. Keeping the commandments is at times hard, but doing so is a vital element for having a happy and peaceful life.

I am grateful for my family who inspires me. I appreciate the time I have, working at home because it enables me to take care of my mom and personally attend to the needs of my teenage son. I thank God for a special LDS guy who lends an added support and inspiration each day and showers me with love. It is my prayer that he will soon build his online business and find an investor perhaps so that we could have the means to get married.

I am happy to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that I belong to the Lord’s true church and Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer.

This is my testimony and prayer.
In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen148196_1683809689395_7056823_n

I was looking to find out about my meaning in life when I was nine years old. I had been waiting for few years later as I worked in Jakarta at 16 to17 years old.I met missionary who was came across to my play ground but the time I wast know about their mission and I always walked away from them. After two and half years pass I was met the missionary again in Singapore. They just started to asked me where I how are you?  They tried to speak in my language it really surprised me thought I haven’t meet those missionaries. I asked them to give me a chances to be meeting again just one or two hours. They  gave me the book of mormon and asked me to read as my home work. After two weeks pass I meet them again before my flight to Indonesia. In My heart I really feel happy to meet with them and I was asked to prayed that I would be able to came back in Singapore and have time to learn more about the church. When I was home. I asked My Dad is this book are good to read everyday or just a paper for make me happy? My dad just said I can read the book and he has given me freedom to be Baptized when I back to Singapore. Before the day I get my baptism I prayed and fast to know all the things are true.Even my Dad saw  light its more brighter then the sun noon and I  had a dream that I saw one men who was stand tall and told me to follow him.

I basically had a bad burn on my hand that was blistered and infected and asked the Bishop if he could help me get a blessing and so he grabbed two other priesthood holders and we went into a little classroom for it. They administered the healing blessing and after that every time I looked at it all day Sunday and yesterday it was a bit better. For some reason, I decided to rub my hand in the oil in my hair for good measure. Also, while I wasn’t specific, the tendonitis in my thumb on the same hand (from repetitive motion of knitting) also subsided so I can give a very strong testimony of how the healing blessing actually works. The accompanying photo is how my hand, which Sunday morning had pus, blisters and lots of redness, looked after the blessing. In the name of Jesus Amen.DSCF5236

I know Jesus is the son of God and that he lives. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that we have a prophet today. I know the LDS church is the true church. This is my testimony.

I can testify that our Heavenly Father is always listening and watching closely. Your trials are never more than what He knows you can handle. With faith and prayer He gives you the strength to get through them. Don’t let the adversary put thoughts of defeat and depression in your mind and heart. I have cried many times forgetting that Heavenly Father is right there. I needed only to reach out. I testify that the Book of Mormon is true and that Heavenly Father guides our prophet, Thomas S. Monson through the light to guide us back to Him. Mosiah 23:21-22 “Nevertheless the Lord seeth fit to chasten his people; yea, he trieth their patience and their faith. Neverthe less – whosoever putteth his trust in him the same shall be lifted up at the last day. Yea, and thus it was with his people.”180792_1617559961405_1892021_n
