I am amazed when I consider how all of us on earth were, at one time, with Heavenly Father considering his wonderful plan of happiness for all of us. His desire to have us live with him for eternity meant that we would need to learn what it means to be mortals to have a greater understanding and appreciation for immortality with God. We have a loving Father in Heaven who allows us to have human experiences that we may grow strong and progress in our earthly life. Without adversity we would not know real joy and happiness. Jesus Christ volunteered to come to the earth to bring us the gospel, establish and organize his church, and, more importantly, to atone for our sins and redeem us from an eternal hell through repentance and forgiveness. His crucifixion and resurrection makes it possible for all mankind to be resurrected into a perfect body never again to die. The scriptures in the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and he Pear of Great Price are our “road map” to eternal life. They help us come to know God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, whose companionship and influence helps us to live the laws, ordinances, and principles of the gospel and to serve God and man. We have servants of God on the earth, apostles and prophets, who, are his spokespersons to help us know what the Father’s will is for us in our day and age. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the same church he organized and established while he was on this earth.
